In the summer of 2011 Deb covered ~370 miles of the TransAmerica Bicycle Route 76 in the RideForJim event in honor of her dad, Jim Young. Dad has been fighting Stage IV lung cancer since April 2010. The RideForJim event raises money for cancer research.
According to our maps this was supposed to be our second breakfast I believe at around mile 30. It looks deserted. The only thing welcoming was the sign and the bike with the banana seat and Harley-Davidson handlebars!
