I'm not sure why my reply to your other email isn't working. So I'll reply to this one. How about November 13, 14? Love you!

Big Deb, Nov. 2nd is not a good date. Sorry Big Dad.-------Original Message-------Big Dad
I was looking at the calendar last night and wanted to run a date by you. What would you think if I came up to visit November 2 (arriving around noon) and came back to VA on November 3? Howard is away all that week in New Orleans for a mission trip and I know I'll have to be back here to work the Equine Extravaganza. I'll find out my days/hours today.
I would need to bring the mutt since Howard won't be here to watch him. Let me know if that's ok. If not, I'll call Wingmont and see if I can get him in on November 1 and pick him up the November 4.
Another option would be for me to visit around the Veterans Day holiday.
Love you, your oldest ugliest :)

Hi again Gang,
Well I just got home from my radiation treatment and everything went well. Now it's a matter of time to see if it helps my "Dizzy Spells". The importent thing is that the tumor is no longer active.
will keep you up to date as required.
love ya, Dad

As most of you know, I have been having Dizzy (light-headedness) spells for the passed few months. No one seems to know what has been causing them. So this Monday they gave me a CT Scan of the brain. (No smart remarks) The results showed a small tumor in one section of my brain.
As a result, I will be receiving what is called "Gamme Knife Surgery" this Thursday (tomorrow 9/15). This is nothing more than a type of radiation. I go into the doctors office at 7:30 AM and should be out by 2:00 PM assuming everything goes OK.
This tumor, of course, has to be removed but there is no assurence that this is the cause of my "Dizzy" spells.
Love you all, Dad

Stick a fork in it! Oh I wish I was there to celebrate with them! Alice just called. They rode about 18 miles this morning to Hazard KY. She said it was a magnificent ride in the mountains. They are driving around Hazard now looking for breakfast and then they will drive home. Congratulations!!!
