Murphysboro and Halfway I Think to Home

It is 92 degrees and H O T! We couldn't believe how cool it felt in this Subway. Washed off the salt in the ladies room and ate a hoagie. Were heading off to Goreville and Ferne Clyffe state park. Riding along the Mississippi river reminded me of the Mon river between monongahela and Webster. LOTS of coal trucks barges and tug boats. I thought this was corn country. Got off the main road at mile 12 and we were in rural farmland. Very flooded. But beautiful. Boots and saddles!
