In the summer of 2011 Deb covered ~370 miles of the TransAmerica Bicycle Route 76 in the RideForJim event in honor of her dad, Jim Young. Dad has been fighting Stage IV lung cancer since April 2010. The RideForJim event raises money for cancer research.
Ate breakfast at 5 30 as planned and on the road again a bit after 6 to beat the heat. This is the beautiful sunrise we saw when we clicked into the pedals.
